The Ridge has long been “downtown Mayer” with homes along quiet wooded streets east of Hwy 25 behind downtown businesses.
Construction started in the 70’s through the mid 1980’s by a variety of builders with numerous home styles.
Current prices have been from the mid $100’s to the low $200’s.
The lifestyle in the Ridge has a quaint “Mayberry” feel. That is; homes near neighbors who are friends who all have an idea of family life in a small rural town.

The Fieldstone neighborhood is the future of Mayer due to its sheer size and scope. Currently projected to house over 1,500 families it will be the main neighborhood for new construction for the next several years.
Additionally, with over 25 acres of commercial development, it will be the hub of activity and commerce for the region.
Extensive walking trails, ponds, a elementary school site & a massive park area make this the new Mayer gathering place. This is on top of the close proximity to famed Mayer-Lutheran High school.
